Waterford Public Schools is proud to highlight the Avery Point Transitional Readiness Program, an initiative that prepares students, ages 18—22, with vocational opportunities while fostering independent living skills and community interactions for students with disabilities. The Avery Point program uses a hybrid of curriculum to reinforce and teach skills to enhance post secondary education, employment, and independent living skills. This program is committed to providing purposeful work experiences and job exploration for these students while integrating a comprehensive post-secondary education to help them effectively contribute to society.
